DAY 1
On arrival at Coober Pedy transfer to the Desert Cave Hotel and check in to your accommodation (underground – subject to availability). The afternoon is spent on our Down&Dirty Mining tour. Enjoy Dinner in Umberto’s Restaurant.
DAY 2 
Try your luck noodling for your own opal. Transport to and from the site is provided on request. After lunch join the Desert Cave Tour.
The comprehensive 4-hour tour featuring:
town tour, visit a working opal field to see opal-mining methods,
visit the Breakaways (a range of colourful exposed sandstone outcrops),
the famous Dog Fence,
the Serbian Underground Church,
a genuine underground home,
Underground Potteries and take the opportunity to purchase either finished stones or jewellery.
DAY 3
Before joining your flight back to Adelaide stroll through the underground Gallery to shop for your own piece of Australia’s outback, “ The Opal “
Inclusions:
Two nights accommodation, Breakfast, one Dinner, guided four hour Desert Cave Tour, Down&Dirty mining tour Return transfers to Coach terminal or Airport Transfer to the “ Jeweller’s Shop” mullock heap to noodle (fossick) for Opal.
Optional:
Shop for your own piece of the Australian Outback “ Opal ”.

Transfer by Air, Train or Coach to and from Coober Pedy is not included.
